By using this application, or any products, services, sites, features, or functionality associated therewith (collectively, the “Application”), you agree to be bound by this Lekses LLC (“Lekses”) Mobile Privacy Policy (“Mobile Privacy Policy”) in addition to such other Lekses privacy policies or terms of use made available to you in connection with the Application or any web-based version of the Application.
This Mobile Privacy Policy describes how the Application collects, uses, shares, and manages your information.
Changing Our Notice
We may change this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make any changes, we will notify you by revising the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Notice and, in some cases, we may provide additional notice through the Application or App Store updates. We encourage you to review our Privacy Notice whenever you access the Application to stay informed about our information practices and the ways that you can help protect your privacy. If you no longer agree with this Privacy Notice and do not wish your information to be subject to the Privacy Notice, you will need to stop using the Application. Your use of the Application shall constitute your consent to the present Privacy Notice.
What Information We Collect
Lekses does not collect personal data from users. We collect only anonymous, aggregated usage analytics through a third-party service.
Information You Provide To Us. Lekses does not collect or store any personal data from users. You are not required to create an account, provide an email address, username, phone number, or any other personal information to use the Application.
All purchases are processed directly through the Apple App Store. Any information required to complete a purchase (such as your Apple user ID or payment details) is handled solely by Apple, in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy. Lekses does not receive, store, or access your Apple user ID, payment information, or any other personal data related to purchases.
Updating Your Information and Deactivating Your Account. Since Lekses does not collect or store personal data, there is no account information to update or modify. For any purchase-related inquiries, please refer to your Apple account settings or contact Apple directly.
Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Application. When you access or use the Application, we may automatically collect information, including personal data, about you, including:
Usage and Device Information. We do not collect personal information such as IP addresses or location data. We collect only anonymized, aggregated usage data such as general app usage patterns, session counts, and feature usage statistics. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
Use of Aptabase Metrics Collection. We use Aptabase, a privacy-focused analytics service located in Ireland, to collect anonymous usage data. Aptabase:
- Creates temporary user identifiers that are automatically deleted every 24 hours
- Uses privacy-friendly hashing techniques that prevent tracking across days or apps
- Stores anonymized analytics data for up to 5 years for service improvement
- Cannot identify individual users or correlate data to specific people
- Complies with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR regulations

How We Use Information Collected
Since Lekses collects only anonymous, aggregated usage data through Aptabase (and no personal information), we use this limited data solely for the following purposes:
- App Development and Improvement: To understand general usage patterns and identify areas for enhancement
- Technical Performance: To monitor app stability, identify bugs, and ensure optimal performance
- Security and Integrity: To detect unusual activity patterns that may indicate security issues or unauthorized access attempts
- Analytics and Research: To analyze trends in app usage for development planning and feature prioritization
- Legal Compliance: To meet our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities
- Business Operations: To make informed decisions about app development, resource allocation, and strategic planning
- For any other lawful business purposes that are compatible with the context in which the anonymous usage data was collected, provided that such use does not identify individual users and complies with applicable privacy laws.
Data Retention and Erasure
Since Lekses does not collect or store personal data, there is no personal information to retain or delete. Anonymized, aggregated usage data collected by Aptabase may be retained for analytical purposes to help us improve the Application, but this data cannot be linked to any individual user.
If you reside outside the U.S., any anonymized usage data will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy standards. We provide industry-standard physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect any information we process and maintain.
What Information We Share or Disclose to Others
We will not share personal data about you with any third parties except as described in this Privacy Notice, or as defined in an agreement with us in connection with the Application (including a Data Processing Addendum, as applicable). Information that may be shared, pursuant to any applicable agreements, includes:
Third-Party Service Providers. We utilize two third-party service providers: (1) Apple, which processes all purchase transactions through the App Store, and (2) Aptabase, which collects anonymized usage analytics. Apple handles all purchase-related data in accordance with their privacy policy. Aptabase is authorized to collect only anonymized, non-personal usage data as described in this Privacy Notice and complies with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR regulations. Compliance with Laws. We may disclose your information to a third party: (a) if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request; (b) to enforce our agreements and policies; (c) to protect the security or integrity of the Application; (d) to protect Lekses, our customers, or the public from harm or illegal activities; (e) to respond to an emergency which we believe in good faith requires us to disclose information to assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person; or (f) as otherwise directed by you.
Business Transfers. In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition, any anonymized usage data may be transferred as part of business assets. No personal data would be involved in such transfers since we do not collect personal information.
Aggregated and/or Anonymized Data. We may also share aggregated and/or anonymized information that does not directly identify you individually with third parties. For example, we may analyze anonymized usage patterns to better understand how the Application is used and to improve our services. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and we may share this aggregated data with our agents and business partners. This aggregated information does not identify you personally. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe the Application to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.
Links To Third-Party Websites
We may place links to third-party websites on the Application. When you click on a link from our Application to a third-party website, your activity and use are governed by that website’s policies; not by those of Lekses. We encourage you to review their privacy and user policies.
How We Store Information
Any anonymized usage data collected through Aptabase is processed and stored in accordance with their privacy practices and applicable data protection standards.
How We Secure Information
We have adopted reasonable physical, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the integrity of the Application and any anonymous usage data we collect.
Since Lekses does not require user accounts or collect personal information, there are no user IDs, passwords, or personal data to secure. Our security measures focus on:
- Protecting the Application’s functionality and stability
- Ensuring anonymous usage data remains non-identifiable
- Maintaining secure data transmission to our third-party analytics provider
While we implement reasonable security measures, no system can guarantee complete security. Although we only collect anonymous usage data, we cannot ensure absolute protection against all potential security risks during data transmission or processing by our service providers.

Data Processing Location
While the Lekses app operates in the United States, anonymous usage analytics are processed by Aptabase, which is located in Ireland. This anonymous data cannot be used to identify individual users.
EU User Rights
Since Lekses does not collect, store, or process personal data, most traditional data rights do not apply. However, if you have any questions about our data practices or believe your rights have been affected, please contact us at support@lekses.com.
For any purchase-related data rights (such as access to transaction history), please contact Apple directly as they process all purchase information.
California Residents
Since Lekses does not collect personal information or share data with third parties for marketing purposes, the California Shine the Light law does not apply to our Application. For any purchase-related inquiries, please refer to your Apple account or contact Apple directly.
Our Policy Toward Children
In compliance with COPPA, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act at https://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/rules/rulemaking-regulatory-reform-proceedings/childrens-online-privacy-protection-rule, and the Federal Trade Commission’s Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act at https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/2012-31341.pdf the Application is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@lekses.com. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
